When I sent a print instruction to the printer via parallel cable, the printer prints a lot of what looks like raw data instructions and then about thirty or more blank pages then a final page with data in the middle. The data is ledgible and in english but it is not what is required. This even happens when I try to print a test page. I am running XP and the printer was found automatically by XP.The first page starts with:-

%%Title: Test Page %% Bounding Box: 13 13 582 and so on for two or three pages then the blanks.
