Hi Sccfire, This apparently is a fairly common problem with the 2800 series printer and associated with connection to a PC using USB. It can only be overcome by manually configuring the printer?s USB port to work in standard mode rather than at high-speed USB2.0 mode which probably won?t be to much of a problem. For this you first uninstall any previous Driver. Install the Drivers after restarting your system. After Installing the drivers connect the Printer. Note down now the Driver must be automatically work because HP1320 is a plug n play Printer. If not change the cable used to connect the PC with Printer and if the Printer is auto detected, you will be able to print the Test Page or any other page.

i think the inside printer have dirt or obstacles that blocken the cartridges while printing.
try to clean manually the printer by using powerful air blower,repeatedly.

The following steps will walk you through configuring the setting. These are temporary settings. If the unit loses power, the settings need to be reconfigured. From the front panel:

1. Press and hold the * key for 3 to 5 seconds until the display screen reads Test -001+ .
2. Enter in 620 on the key board, and press the Check Mark and the screen will read Cfg param id:
3. Enter the parameter ____ on the key board and press the Check Mark.
   • 159 - Receiving Fax baud rate
   • 153 - Transmitting Fax baud rate
   The screen will read Cfg param val: 26
4. Enter in the value ____ and then press the Check Mark .
   • 0 = V.17 14400
   • 2 = V.17 9600
   • 6 = V.29 9600
   • 10 = V.27 2400
   Screen will read Test -001+
5. Press the Reset button until you get back to Ready *
