HOW DO I RE-STRING MY RYOBI 132R TRIMMER PLUS DUAL LINE ??

There is supposed to be a barb fitting with a flange on top of it that is on the end of the hose, inside the tank. If you do not have that barb in place the gas will start to leak out of the tank in a short time. Barb fitting is designed to have hose stick up about 3/16" into the tank when the hose is properly installed. You put the new hose on the fitting, thread the other end of the hose through the fill opening of the tank and out the hole in the bottom. Pull hose through until barb comes through the hole in the tank and the flange is flush with the inside bottom of the tank. There is supposed to be a plastic ring that fits over the bulge in the hose/barb at the bottom of the tank on the outside. Serves as a retainer for the fitting.
