Does the dell latitude PP01L have wireless internet

It probably has an old PCMCIA card for wireless but they don't work well with modern routers.

I would recommend getting one like the one in the link below. It's super small, very fast, extremely cheap $10, Installs right in a usb port, and if your operating system is windows XP or later it should even auto install the drivers for you.

If you model has the optional wireless card installed.
To check, click Start - Control Panel - System - Hardware - Device Manager - expand Network Adapters and if the wireless card is not listed then you don't have a wireless card.
If there is a wireless card and it has a yellow ? against it then the wireless card driver was not installed. In this case -
You can download the drivers from the Compaq/HP WEBsupport/download page. Make sure you select your model laptop and the XP orVista Windows version of the drivers you require and install them. Click onthis link to download the drivers: -

Using the Fn key combinations..

Fn> + <End>
Mutes the speaker
<Fn> + <Page Up>
Raises the sound volume
<Fn> + <Page Down>
Lowers the sound volume
<Fn> + <F10>
Ejects the drive bay
<Fn> + <Esc>
Places the computer in Suspend Mode
<Fn> + <F7>
Alters the font size at boot. If the Dell splash screen or Windows splash screen is very small, then this will enlarge it.
<Fn> + <Down Arrow>
Dims the backlight on the LCD
<Fn> + <Up Arrow>
Brightens the backlight on the LCD
