Timer problem If I set the timer on our PD-DVR100 recorder before noon to record a program happening in the afternoon or evening, I encounter problems and the recording doesn't take place. I believe it has something to do with the fact that the PD-DVR100 uses military time and all our other equipment uses AM/PM time. But that is just a guess on my part. Is there a way to change the PD-DVR100 from military time to AM/PM time?

How we solved the problem was to go buy another DVD Recorder. The Proton has a couple of problems; i.e., it was suggested by one of your community members that the Proton was flaky.
Flaky is a perfect word for it. Anyway, we could never trust it. Not in the two or three years we have had it. Hope this new one is better. Did enjoy your website, though, and it was nice to read comments from other who have the Proton and to discover that we were not the only ones experiencing the problems.
