The light is behind a small mesh area in the front right. This probably means that either you have to take the oven out and there is a rear access door, or you slide the oven partially out and reach the bulb from above.

Not sure about your particular unit. So.... it's up to you....
I found that my light was simply covered by a plastic lens plate. I flexed it slightly and it opened up. Others have a single screw to remove so that the lens moves to one side.
Then I reached inside and turned the bulb & remove it.
It was a low wattage bulb rated at the same voltage as the AC wall voltage. But it's often stamped on the side. Just match up the same base type and specs.

I have the same problem. Is the light still on inside the microwave? Mine is on and the microwave thinks the door is not shut. I took the top off of the microwave and the latch needs to push down on a switch once shut. The latch was reaching the switch, but I think some spring in the door, pushing the latches down, has broken since it reaches the switch when closed but there isn't any downward force to flip the switch. I am trying to figure out how to repair the latch but if your light is on when you "shut" the door, you may have the same problem.
Your going to need to disassemble the light fixture to perform electrical work. Its possible in the process that you may have accidently blown something else. If so, be prepared to peform
units soldered connections on the main projection board warm up as the system warms up. Thus, the loose capacitors, resisters, and diodes are causing the CHANGE when the system warms up. When metal contracts, it expands thus losing the connection needed for a solid connection. This process is normal after the units have reached their service life. Keep in mind that you can repair this but at the expense of time if you have never performed this type of work.
Well I'm reaching here---if the bulb did not fracture/break then it sounds like a capacitor popped--check your owners manual for reset button but I don't think there is one for the lighting---In addition if you can see the circuit board--look for burn spot or wet spot. GL
HI. you will need to replace this malfunctioning key pad asap. this will require you to disassemble the unit, in order to reach the actual touch pad board. It is not an easy task, and i recommend a professional tech, if possible.
I had the same problem! I was soooo frustrated! But, when my brother came to town, he took off the grill on the top of the micro hood, took out a few more screws, a plastic screen, another screw in the metal cover for the light and then reached in with his fingers to pull out the light bulb, we replaced it, then re-assembled it. It did take us about 30 minutes to do the job and you will need a phillips screwdriver, and a phillips screwdriver drill bit thing, but we were able to do it. I love having the light in the microhood again.
