Thanks for your input, but i have tried putting in several codes (over 100), and my phone does not prompt me for a PUK code. I do have the PUK code and have tried this too, but it doesn't work.

The sim lock code is the code that you will use to safe guard your sim card. If you do not know this then its best to imput the wrong code 3 times and then ask your service provider for you PUK code that they will provide free. After you imput the PUK code your phone will ask you for a new sime code of your choice.
