I think this will have to do with Hardware issues in terms of the "52 scanner error". According to the service manual, this has nothing to do with the ADF, but has to do with the Laser Scanner. The cable to the laser scanner is bad or the laser scanner itself is broken. If the cable is ok, then the Laser Scanner Assembly part number is RM1-0171. I think you could find it if you google it.

when i try to scan anything , four error masseges come, its all about error with the connection with the scanner. i tried to reinstall the driver many times, all the other utilities are working fine , but the scanner still.....
can any body suggest a solution. (also the HP fix error program did not find any problem).

Doet geen enkele functie meer. Op scherm komt boodschap:
scanner fout schakel uit schakel in.
Ik heb de stroom eraf gehad. Eerst hielp dat. Maar na een paar weken helpt ook dat niet meer. Doep nu niets meer.
