What does the E8 error code on a Farberware pressure cooker mean?
The error code E8 means the pressure protection is not working; here is the link for the manual

The manual does not discuss possible reasons for this. I have to assume there is some kind of issue with the pressure release valve. take a look and see if it is stuck or there is some kind of buildup in or around it preventing it from operating. There is a manufacturers help line listed and the only thing they recommend is to call it. Hope this helps.

What does E1 mean on power pressure cooker xl
E1 means there is an open circuit on the pressure sensor. There are not any repair instructions so its broke, if your unit is still in warranty, take it back to the store you purchased it.

Factory reset the slow cooker. To do this, and this is only an educated guess as no information is available in the user manual for this device, is hold the clear button if there is one while powering it off, or press the + and - buttons simultaneously and hold for several seconds to clear the screen.

Fault code e4
I found two loose wires, and tightened the screws, and the e4 went away, and it works now. The plastic cover on the bottom has to be removed to get to the wires and screws. Make sure it's unplugged

Displays E1. What does this mean?
Couldn't find anything on this error code on the net, so you will have to contact Cuisinart support to have them explain the error. Here's their website:

It could be an error indicating the heating element isn't heating, but only Cuisinart knows for sure.

before using the pressure cooker make sure the bottom of the container is dry.. I got this error then i just wiped of the bottom of the inner container.. turned off the pressure cooker then turned it on again.. it worked fine after that.. no more error
