Hello I have a Tascam DP-01 Recorder,I can record singing and play my guitar at the same time, which is great, the sound and it was simple to do. But I wanted to add a lead guitar in that recording, but I can't figure that out...is there a way to do that other then transfer recording to a cassette, then record onto a cassette,I think then I would loss the quality sound that the Tascam recorder has.I would like to record the lead guitar to that same recording and keep sound, like a studio recording that the Tascam has.Can anyone advice me,does anyone know how to,so I can complete my project? thak you,dgPeralta
I don't believe any software comes with the DP-01. After you record your tracks, you have to "export" them to your FAT drive. Once they are on your FAT drive, you will be able to see them using Windows Explorer. Your Tascam shows up as a removable disk. Simply open the drive and you will see the available folders. The WAV folder will contain your exported .WAV files and you can drag&drop from there.
If you don't have the manual, you can find it online. It's free!
