*connect the modem to the router with cable in the modem slot of the router * make sure that cable works *then connect ur computer to the wired slot of the router * make sure this cable also works *then check the light status on the router *if the modem light blinks *open any browser type 192.168.2.1 login to router set up page * in the left hand side under utilities click on restore factory settings ( password is blank ) * then unplug the powercord of modem and router and wait for 1 min * then plug the powercord of modem wait 1 min * then plug the powercord of router * then check the modem and internet light *if steady then try accessing the internet

7. u can see the main page of belkin
8. enter the first set of settings or the second set
