Same problem I have the same problem. Just replaced the water heating element because it was split in a few places, also ran a chemical cleaner because we have horrible water, no change.
After changing the heater try to use white vinigare each 3 weeks
apply half a bottle in the washing mashine and set it on 80 degree and run it on the long program
this will make the machine live longer
