Compact Flash Problems

When I put the Compact Flash memory card in my camera and turn it on, the screen says "No images, Memory Card Error".

This just happened. I hooked up my camera to my computer via USB and uploaded the images to my computer then deleted the images from my camera via the computer.

When I went to use the camera the next day, I turned it on and the message describe above appeared. I removed the card and tried the default card that came with the camera and had no problems but when I re-inserted the CF card, the error was still there.

ATTN***** The product is SANDISK COMPACT FLASH 512mb MEMORY CARD, the Product box would not recognize my product listing.

I have the same problem now, and still don't have any idea to fix it.

I have been storing photo's on my SanDisk CompactFlash cards, a 32, a 256, and a 512. And writing some photo's to CD of an ocassion. Suddenly, my DELL recognized ZERO images on the cards, then my camera read "No images," and the local Walgreens machine declared the card void of images. What happened? I am thinking it may time to buy a new camera.

Suddenly I lose all images on all my cards. Thank you.

I use a Nikon D70 Camera. Shot 15 or 20 photos and viewed the images in the viewer on the Camera and they looked fine. I then took the 512 Compact Flash Card out of the camera and inserted it into my computer for downloading. The images were missing. There were other photos on the card from a previous photo session and they were still there. The case of the missing files? What should I try? Thanks

WTF? anyone have a solution? I just bought a SanDisk ULtra II 4GB FCF and put it in my camera.  I reformatted it, and then now it says that the Memory is Full.  What exactly is going on here? Need a solution, going on vacation and I want to take some photos!

I have the same problem as macmacmac it seems.... but a bit different.
The card showed up on my comp, and as time went by elmss and less images could be opened, or even viewed. I copied everything quickly onto my comp so as not to loose them. Then, none of them could be openned at all, the card now shows up but with no images and weird jibberish as file names in it.
Is there any way I can recover my missing images!!! I need them for a job! this si teh frist time anythign like this has happened!

Dynamite,
have you tried to reformat the CF card?  If you deleted the image through your computer and not with the camera, the computer may have removed more than what was needed...
