I get this error when i try to reinstall windows

Wow, sadly Your CD is corrupted. You need to get another good one. It is caused by scratches on the cd that he complains he can't read the file.
It seems like the xp CD is faulty. the D:\i386\COMPDATA\NTCOMPAT.INF is invalid. this can be corrected by creating the recovery disk using OS recovery tool.
Once the recovery cd is ready, try to reinstall xp again.
