32bit or 64bit edition of Vista?
If it's 64bit, from what I understand, your out of luck.
If it's 32bit, then using the latest communications manager should help. Says it supports Vista and your card.
Do not use communications manager 6.6 as your card isnt supported in that version. Use the 6.3 version located here - http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/en_US/download/Setup-ACM-6.3.exe

Oh, and don't install the card in the slot until the software is installed or it instructs you to do so.
