Thanks for solving my problem. i also got another problem. When i turn the computer on, (like passing thru when it has the option to go bios mode or other). after that, it scans for IDE and then it says cannot define array. two options appear which will have press ESC to continue or press Ctrl+F which takes you to see view array or auto configure.when you choose one or the other, its like almost a few seconds which u c the light blue screen(death somthing cant remeber the name of it) and it restart the computer. i try rebooting the computer but it keeps saying boot faliure please use another device or other. i have set the boot sequence to boot ffrom CD drive. Urgent help!!!

If YESS just reinstall OS ( OPERATING SYSTEM ) if u can't just buy new HDD!
Befor that check ram,power suply!
Did u check the juper SLAVE + MASTER???Try to make cd or dwd as master and remove the jumper from HDD ( NO JUMPER ON HDD )
Opss do u see hdd on BIOS???

yea but i tried other working HDD and i also changed the IDE Cables and others. it says the same thing.
i will try the solutions and let u no ASAP!!
