What's wrong with my watch?

I have an older digital Timex Expedition (ladies indiglo) watch. The battery was replaced 6 weeks ago. The digits have disappeared, but the line between the date and time remains on the screen so the battery seems to still be functioning. Maybe not at full juice? I've tried pushing the usual buttons to reset, but nothing happens. Any advice?

As digital watches get older they don't display properly. That's not uncommon ur watch is just old that's all. Send it sack to the mfg if the can't fix it the usually send it Back with a discount off or promo so u will keep buying there product be sure to send ur name address an phone #. They will contact u and it's usually a better way to resolve the problem

When u open digital watches that have alarms or make sounds u have to be very careful because there is a spring that is very small and can fall out with ou u noticing it if everything if function properly but no sound go into ur settings and make sure ur found and beeps r activated and turned on these r questions it will ask u when ur setting up the phone after the batt change be sure u ace as done properly. If still no sound ur spring is missing provided u had sound before u changed the batt

Go back and pull the battery and wait a few minutes and then put it Back then ac it be careful not to lose the spring that touched the back or your beeps and sounds will not work if it still has the same issue the u will have to send it Bach to timex for a new movement. It's cheaper to do that than buy a new one

New batterys can go bad, that is why they have a warranty. Replace the battery

It's very rare a new batt will go bad and the only way that occurs is if there is insulator under it so it grounds out and drains it

SOURCE: Replaced battery, now no beep.

I have a Timex Digital Heart Rate Monitor 585 (product code T5C351F5)m, which has the same Short AC Pad and battery +ve message. There is an arrowhead pointing to the pad. It's a raised metal platform - a bit different to some of the Ironman's mentioned above. Here is a pic...6e1fe0e.jpg

There is no separate battery for the indiglo, maybe indiglo circuit is lose or defected already, just open the watch and check for lose connection. If happen the circuit is tight and still not working then replace the indiglo circuit.

SOURCE: I need a operation manual for my timex Expedition

http://www.timex.com/info/Product_Instruction_Guides_Downloads

There are so many applications use of the manual will be mandatory.

Use the numbers on the back of your watch and you will have a PDF version of your instruction manual.

Hope this tip helps
