Not sure what you mean about refreshing the computer, but if it's experiencing lag you might want to try a restart. You can also go into msconfig (type it in at the start menu search bar) and disable some startup services. BE VERY CAREFUL USING MSCONFIG. If you don't know what you are doing you may cause irreparable harm to the pc.
