SOURCE: takamine eg523sc... the bass string

You should take this to a guitar shop for setup. If you have correct strings on there the other thing is to check any EQ of whatever you run this into... If the amp can't handle the real low bass, it MAY appear to be a guitar problem but in fact is an inadequate frequency response at the low end in the amp and speaker.

ALSO some people believe it or not get deaf in the low range if they have damaged their ears when young. Procure a sound meter to VERIFY the sound intensity level... You may find the level is the same for the different strings.

The weak spot for bass is the SPEAKER in the amp.

I have a Takamine acoustic, 6 string,(from what it looks, but definitely not sure at all) Pro series, steel string guitar. With the serial # 94031146. I'm wondering what model and value Thanks

Tak serial numbers are pretty reliable but do not always give the exact model. Yours was made in March 1994, and probably is indeed a Pro Series guitar. You should Google that, "1994 Takamine Pro" , and see if images are a match.

They are well regarded, going for US$1000-1200.

MY TAKAMINE IS CD132SC NYLONE STRING THE SERIAL NUMBER IS 99091756 CAN YOU TELL ME HOW MUCH IS WORTH AND WHAT YEAR WAS IT MADE?

Hi Michael:
I just Googled Takamine Acoustic guitars and got a bunch of hits.
My suggestion to you is that you do the same and try to find a guitar thatr is similar to yours and see what the asking price is.
I`ve played a tak and know that they have a good feel and sound.
Best of luck.

I've got Takamine JJ 325 My problem is backround noise - What can i do ?

Acoustic guitars pickup noise almost like a microphone. You have to prevent the sound from reaching the guitar or get a solid body guitar.
