Hi, You said, you configured your belkin router as an access point, did you add another device on your network that will act as a router? Have you tried checking your IP address? Is your PC connected directly/via ethernet cable to the wireless router or you're wirelessly connected to it? In order for you to access 192.168.2.1, your PC's first 3 octet's IP address should be the same. For example, 192.168.2.x. To check your PC's IP address: Go to Start>Run> and then type cmd On the black screen window, type ipconfig/all Look at your Local Area Connection's IP address If it shows 192.168.2.x, then see if the Gateway address is 192.168.2.1 If yes, see if you can ping the router by typing on the same window ping 192.168.2.1. If you get replies from the router, then we can isolate the problem by looking at your browser settings. If you get, request timed out from the router, then you may want to check if you have a software firewall that may block you to access the router setup page.

Hi,

You said that you cannot change anything on the router setup page, right? Have you tried to clear your browser's cache or used other browser or other PC to isolate the problem? There's a possibility that you are just seeing a web cache of the router's UI which could be the reason why everytime you change something it just goes back on the status page.
