What does EFO code mean on our washing machine?
Frigidaire, Zanussi, AEG, & More....
EFO = Filter Blocked (low flow) and it is accessible from the bottom front of the machine.
1. there is a blockage in the filter or drain hose.takes too long to drain out.
2. over dosing of powder or liquid. again can cause an air lock in the pump which slows the drain pump down.
Check the filter and drain hose and test again. this fault will only come up at the end of a cycle.
You do not need to reset the machine to get rid of the fault code as this is automatically deleted.
Run an empty load with no detergent in an attempt to get rid of the code.

It can mean one of two things. You did not use an HE ( High energy detergent) or you used to much so there are too many suds in the washer. It can also mean that if you are using warm water, the hot water is not coming in, so you would need to make sure the hoses are connected correctly, the hot water is turned all the way on and that the little filter at the end of the hose (washer end) is clean.

The hoses need to be checked to make sure they are hooked up on the right faucets and the hot water faucet should be turned all the way on. You would also need to unscrew the water hose at the washer end and make sure the little filter is clean, so tha the hot water can get through.

spoke with electrolux and they tell me that it is over sudsing problem. The washer must use HE detergent or use only a the lowest amount on the cup.
