Enter SP 5810 (SC code reset), select “Execute”, select “close”, exit SP mode then turn main power switch off and on.
to enter SP mode press yellow C button press 1 0 7 on numeric keypad and then hold down the orange C button from the menu select copier SP then type in 5801 and press # selest execute then power off and back on. Your machine should now be working.

Error code sc548 refers to the fuser unit not being set or latched into place. Open the right side cover(s) and at the top is the fuser unit. Make sure main power switch is turned off (lower corner of front cover)....and using a phillips screw driver, confirm tightness of 2 fuser retaining screws (1 at front side of machine and 1 towards rear side) If these are secure, close side covers, turn main power to on....if the code persists....we will need to reset via service mode.
