Printer queue is blocked

I have a project in the print queue that i cant get rid of and it is blocking the rest of the queue. i have tried cancelling the project, restarting my computer, shutting down the printer and clearing all projects from the queue. still this one job is there and no one can print. please help me.

    thankyou for the advice on restarting the printer spooler, unfortunately when i did that it still didnt fix the problem. would this be due to the fact that its a networked printer? please, are there any other solutions that may work?

    it is connected to a printer server and its in my office. im not sure what else you need to know, i will give you all the information that i can though. thankyou so much.

Easy, but it will reset all print jobs.

Goto Control Panels.
Open Administration Tools
Open Services
Find Printer Spooler
-Right click and choose restart

    Please describe where the printer is located and how its connected.

    You should pause the printer, Try to cancel it via the printers and faxes control box.

    if not, they to go thru the menu on the printer. Most printers you can cancel A job on the printer itself.
