Hi , If you've changed service providers then you'll need to ring your new service provider and tell them you'd still like to use your old cell phone number BUT if you're putting your sim card into a new or different cell phone make sure that cell phone isn't locked to a different service provider than your sim cards provider, I hope this helped...
