Clogs Hi,  My Eureka bagless is driving me crazy.  The dirt and dog hair collect in the filter and does not drop into cannister.  I've cleaned the filter and still no luck.  Any suggestions?

This vacuum I've only used a couple times, but it sat for a couple months before I opened it...while I continued using my old one. Too late to return it to store...but this is horrible! The dirt and hair get stuck in the clear top of the return and won't go down in to the canister to collect and then be emptied. I have had the WORST luck with any new vacuum I buy...and this one wasn't cheap...it was $75! Look like I'm out that money, along with another $50 that I bought for a Bissell upright that has the same problem...I won't buy another upright again.

The problem is with bagless cleaners. they tend to clog much easier than bagged uits. the bagged vacuums have the filter (bag) change completely each time, therefore the machine is cleaner and you don't need to take it outside and use an air compressor to clean unit weekly. too much trouble to go through weekly.
