I am emptying approximately 1 to 3 gallons of water per day. I have the cap and keep emptying the unit but it immediately fills up. I have a ruined hardwood floor and surrounding carpets. I have left several messages with soleus to no avail. From what I am reading it looks like I should just pack it up and buy a window model. This is a brand new unit and is a complete joke. If there is anyone that has a solution, I would greatly appreciate it. Thx
So u think everyone who owns one of the POS lives n a humid area ? I have the same problem it leaks from the side not from the drain. I would recommend this product to anyone.
There is nothing wrong with the unit, you just are in a humid area, the water is from the air.
The water is being pulled from the air, that is part of how it cools, by condensing water.
Some units have hose fittings that can be hooked up to normal garden hoses and routed outside.
You could also install something like that yourself.
