Most mew sites work on axtice x controls, or flash/java objects, make sure you have no add-ons causing internet explorer to freak out, if not.. try getting latest updates for flash, java and if not already, Internet Explorer 7, service pack 2 for XP and updates.. if you have not updated to internet explorer 7, you can do so quite easily from the microsoft website
