The LED light display is not working on the face of detachable headset is there some button i can press to enable Firetail FT-8238D

make sure the connections are clean on face plate and base make sure no grease or anything like that failing this then contact the makers or even place of purchase usually as long as you have the face plate and the whole unit they will replace the face for free but you might need to show them both as stolen ones people were getting the face for free so they stopped this so get in touch with makers or even place of purchase they should replace for you.

How old is device?

Have you tried pushing the face in whilst pressing it on further just in case the connections are not touching.

HAVE YOU TRIED PRESSING THE eject switch located on the right hand bottom side just below the display ? this switch will work for just 2-3 seconds after u switch OFFthe iginition.
OR
With the stereo OFF (iginition turned ON) press the multicontrol to access face opening ON or OFF .select ON . and the face will always open when iginition is turned OFF .

You must set the Handsfree at: auto
Its in the deep programming
Your going to need Business Series Terminals programming overlay to put over the phone.

2. Than enter system coordinator pass word
3. Press SHOW once and enter your phone extension number
4. Press SHOW twice
5. Press NEXT tree times
6. Change the parameter at HANDFREE with MOD
7. Set it at AUTO
