It stays stuck on installing windows at 64% and just keeps restarting
Have you turned the computer off at anytime during the install process? If you have you will have to begin the process all over again. Please state what version of windows you are installing and can you access the recover area on your aspire?
Hi there, I would advise you to access the Acer eRecovery option by holding down Alt + F10 after restarting your laptop. This will give you an option to run the recovery outside of windows. Make sure you do not have any USB devices plugged in like a flash drive or mouse. These devices use drivers that can halt the installation of windows. Good luck!

If it's still under warranty call Acer, it sounds like a bad hard drive to me.
