I have also noticed that when dealing with the dialogue box containing the "available device" and a "source" button, that after choosing the particular available device and it connects but does not display, you may have to click the "stop" in that box and click on the "available device" a second time. Suddenly, for example, your laptop screen appears on the TV screen.only AFTER you make that 2nd effort. This is simply one more thing you can try.

I had the same problem. Just install nero (7), create a dvd-video and import the files via nero to a folder.
It worked for me.

But it happens when i try to send a normal text message, not just when I try to send media messages.
Also, eventually, the message will send, it just takes a while. Sometimes I get the error up to 5 times before the message sends.
