How can I stop hiccups on my 3 weeks infant?
Rubbing their back and rocking the baby back and forth can help them relax. This may stop the spasms that cause hiccups. Rubbing the back can also help with burping, which may help stop hiccups
Infant hiccups are most often brought about by child overloading, eating excessively fast or gulping a great deal of air.
Hiccups in infants, especially those as young as three weeks old, are common and usually not a cause for concern. Here are some gentle methods you can try to help alleviate your infant's hiccups:
It's important to remember that hiccups are generally harmless and will decrease in frequency as your baby grows older and their digestive system matures. However, if your baby's hiccups are very frequent or seem to be causing discomfort, it's always a good idea to consult with your pediatrician for further advice.
Usually taking in air while feeding.
They are caused by sudden contractions of the diaphragm triggered by irritation or stimulation of that muscle. Some leading pediatricians are of the opinion that infant hiccups are usually caused by feeding (formula or other foods) or by a drop in temperature that causes the baby to get cold. Hiccups are considered harmless unless they prove persistent enough to interfere with regular feeding and sleeping. Babies with gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) may tend to hiccup more frequently, accompanied by spitting up, coughing and irritability. Such behavior should be mentioned to your medical advisor as should very frequent bouts of uncontrollable hiccups, particularly after age 1. Although baby hiccups are seldom the sign of a more serious underlying medical condition, it never does any harm to be cautious.

fit the baby seat in the rear no problem ,it is extremely dangerous to use a front seat mounted one as dont think that this vehicle has the option to turn the front airbag off .if you move the seat back it will fit but its at your own risk .

Newborn hiccups are most frequently caused by baby overfeeding, eating too quickly or swallowing a lot of air. “Any of these things can lead to stomach distention,” Forgenie says. When the stomach distends it actually pushes against the diaphragm, which causes it to spasm, and voil?—hiccups!
When an infant hiccups, gently patting their back or offering a few sips of water can help ease discomfort. Remember, cuddles and soothing words go a long way too!
