When I want to play 2 player Wii with my friends I turn 1st ands 2nd player on, whenever i press th power button to turn it off when I'm done, the whole Wii shuts off. Is there another way to shut the 2nd player controller remote off?
This is factory default with the Nintendo Wii, Try simply removing the batteries when done, OR!, which I do, is hold my hand over the top of the WiiMote and then press the power button, this prevents the Wii from getting the remote's instruction to power down, the remote thinks the Wii got it and then shuts down.
