Anyone can help or is there a shop in orlando area and what is the eta fee on the repair ??
I had the same problem with my 1 month old 40D! My temporary solution (though I already got a replacement) was to set the camera to P mode, and go to the Sensor Cleaning mode.. Choose Manual Mode, and clean now... Err99 will appear. You have to switch off the camera and TAKE OFF the baterry for few seconds. Once reinstalled, you can hear the click of the mirror resetting itself. You should be able to snap foto as normal for now.. I guessed its one of those mirror lock up that brought up this ERR99 **** thing! It annoys me to do this everytime I use my camera... especially after few days didn't use it..
