Has error My camera was recording and playing fine untill the other day. I tried to watch what I recorded and was unable. My camera powers on ,when I press rewind it rewinds for about a second and then an orange tiangle appears on the screen (flashing)with a beeping sound.(C:31:23),Also flashing at top right corner. I cannot rewind,forward,or play. I can't even record.
I have removed the battery (reboot) I have tried with AC power only.I have tried a different tape. I let the camera set over night with the door open and no power . Still,I have same problem.

The same thing happens to my camera, it had been working great til last week. I tried to view my tape but the message C:31:20 and beeping displayed.
It's a supply reel fault. I kid you not, the cure is to give it a REASONABLY FORCEFUL open-handed slap on the tape side. it may take a couple of tries but it works about 95% of the time.
