I have folders in the desktop which i can't delete no matter how i try. help!
U should try the following softwares
1,Unlocker
you can download it from here
http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/unlocker1.8.7.exe
or
2. revo
http://www.revouninstaller.com/download/revosetup.exe
You need to make sure that your user account has permission to delete the folders. If you right click the folder, go to properties, you should see a security tab. This should display a list of account names and the security properties. Make sure your account name is in there. It may be that this particular has been moved from a machine that has different accounts.
