I keep getting the error: "Java(TM) Platform SE Binary has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution becomes available."
How can I fix that?
I had the same problems and found that the new driver i had upgraded to for my NVidia card was the culprit. I rolled it back and my problem was fixed. Hope this helps.
I just figured out how to solve that same problem. I had recently removed Windows Live OneCare from my computer and installed Microsoft Security Essentials as my new anti-virus software. Somewhere in the mix, the computer decided it was Nov, 28, 2049 rather then Nov, 28 2009. When the computer reported to Windows Update Manager and Explorer and the all important JAVA (and the new MS Security Essentials) updates and Java Scripts got all screwed up. Once I adjusted the date in Windows to the correct date, all worked just fine and the Java Platform SE Binary error went away. I was then able to update Windows, the the new Antivirus software.
Www.filehippo.com scroll to the bottom right side to drivers and you find the updated JAVA platform, free download and virus free. Good luck. ParrotHead PC Repair
Hello,
