Unit won't come on in cooling mode..It comes on when you press the contactor....

DOES YOUR INSIDE UNIT RUN AND NOT YOUR OUTSIDE?
HAVE YOU HAD YOUR THERMOSTAT RECENTLY CHANGED?

Check down by the back of the unit where your electric and copper lines come in for a little red reset button. Push it, the unit may then start.
