If you have a DRAW toolbar, you can insert a picture
OR
From the menu bar select INSERT --> PICTURE
From the Picture submenu, selct the source of the picture
Find the file and insert
After inserting you can change the layout, size etc but not the actual details of the picture.
It is better you do all the editing before hand.
