I want a computer program to run only once and not again until it has been closed. I'm using windows xp pro and xp home. The program is windows remote desktop. If there are two instances of the remote desktop running then the shared printers on a file server become unshared.
If youy really need this program ...there are modes to set it in such way that you access it in only one way and do not allow without your accept any instances ...but I will recommend to use another one ..that does same things and even more...uses secure and both way control and its easier to use cause it not require any ip address or so ...the program name is team viewer ..it can be used free of charge for personal ( non commercial purposes ....So just check it out and you will see that Im right ...the nice thing that is has more features into it ..like presentations ...file transfer at a good speed...vpn connections...and much more ....it can be set that you have total control on the other computer ...and also you can by presetting the password and keeping on epc open ..and with he program running on tray mode...to access remotely from virtual anywhere ..and even without installing the program into pc ...but accessing with an account on team viewer from the browser directly ....
