Ozeri 42 inch fan. I have downloaded the app and have the remote, does not give me an option to decrease the fans temperature.

You don't give us a model number, but it must be a Bluetooth operated model. If that is the case, first you have to connect the Bluetooth between the smartphone and the Fan and then the app will connect with the fan. Did you read the manual?
