Hello I need a remote code for a SuperScan television. I have found the brand online in a few spots so I have established that my Aunt does not own the only one. I need the code so I can set up her Tivo remote. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
The comcast remote control code for Superscan VCR/DVD combo is 11963
I found that on our 19" SuperScan with built-in DVD and VCR that the Sylvania code 11963 works.
I have a superscan tv-dvd-vcr bought from Sears 5 years ago the code that worked was 198
Superscan from Sears model 19TVD3S (19 inch CRT) and Comcast basic box w/ remote will take code 11963. search does not seem to take, but this number from earlier post works great!
Press SET until it blinks 2 times, enter 11963, then press the POWER or ON/OFF button once (on the Comcast remote) and the TV should power off. I have not tested if remote that came with Sears Superscan is affected, I doubt it. Thanks docsab5
TRY CODE 251. I ALSO HAVE A SUPERSCAN
I found these - 09, 053 and 864. I have no way to know if they work, of course, because I don't have a SupserScan TV to try them on.
If they don't work, let me know and I'll try to find more.
SuperScan refuses to provide programming numbers because "not all Universal type remotes will operate SuperScan products correctly." You could call SuperScan at 1 800 503-4105 and try to get a new remote. I know there are some Universal remotes that will read their settings off another remote (you have them point towards each other and the Universal remote reads the signal from the regular remote to program itself). If yours has that option, you could get the SuperScan remote and program it that way.
If none of this works, let me know and I'll dig further.

I have the same problem. My superscan is the 19inch dvc/vcr/tv combo, and I have a series 2 tivo. I am having no luck at all with anything online after searching for 2 hours, and none of the codes listed in this forum work for me either. What is wrong with superscan that they won't reveal their code? I read their website that proffers a reason for not revealing the codes, but I find their excuse inexcusable.
