When trying to uninstall a program I get the error message--intallation log not found. What does this mean and how do I fix it??

Just go and manualy delete the program and then manualy delete the shortcut files on your desktop, also you can right click on you program list under the start menu to get the option of "Explore" then you can delete the start menu --> Program Files/ (program you want to delete) and shortcuts inside.

OR
You can also try reinstalling them and then uninstalling them through add remove programs or what ever built in method supported by that program.
