Oki c5200 driver for macos 10,6
Hi All, After installing Leopard 10.5 I noticed that I was having problems printing from my C5200n OkiData printer. I contacted OkiData Support by email, within 2 days they emailed me back with a beta driver for the C5200n and it worked perfectly. So the solution is to email them from their support portion of OkiData website and they will cure your problem until the drivers are posted for the public.

This is a pointer in a potentially right direction. This is not a well researched solution to your issue.
Understanding that MAC OS X is "BSD-like" under the covers this link with considerable research may yield some results however the solution is not likely to be very "MAC-like" installation.

here is another approach that may work if you have a windows box to attach the printer to and share the printer from.

The first note from trey may simplify the process and there is a later note about windows firewall port 515 being required.

Oki c5200n not working since getting Comcast cable. It says it's onine. have loaded windows 7 64 bit driver. Have even tried hooking up laptop directly which has always working in the past as a last resort :( Have new Canon printer inkjet - but the old Okie produced better copies so hoping to get it working as I cannot afford to replace it.
