Hi, I would be very grateful if you could give me advice on the following :-
When i turned on my J.V.C. DR-M1SLB DVD Recorder the STR G6653 Flyback power regulater exploded, blowing half it's face off where the Drain and Source (legs 1&2) are connected. Can you tell me if and where I can purchase a replacement G6653 in Ireland and what other components may be known to contribute to this components failure. Also if this is a common fault with above DVD-Recorder.

I have monitor ,the problem is ,after 2,4 mint my mointor turn off,in the borad STR G6653 transistor burned out ,i alllredy change it but after one month they again burned, pleases guide me for the replacement of this transistor ,give some list of this transistor ,i want to to used another transistor in the behalf pf STRG6653 transistor
