I need the codes for a proscan 42la45h flatscreen tv for the cable remote control.the three that they supplied didnt work.
I only have a solution for the directv remote codes use the LG TV code 10056.
I have a proscan lcd screen tv. directv tech show me how to find. change selector to TV. hold mute and select buttonat the same time. after green light flashes twice enter 9911 then on button. repeatly press the up channel button until tv turns off. when it start working then hold in mute and select button at the same time. enter 990 then press 1 button , count then number of flashes. that the first digit of the code then press 2 button. then the 3 button , 4 , 5 buttons. on proscan tv - LG tv codes work for mine.

The lg code 10056 really worked. I found a code that worked before but the turn off the tv and driectv botton would not work, but the lg code is good. bye the way the proscan remotes ****. you have to be right in front of the tv to use it, but not with directv or an other remote
If the codes didnt work that means they suck so the best thing to do is toss the tv remote and get a universal remote for everythhing. cost for 5 to 20 bucks.
