On my 28 foot Itasca motorhome the air conditioner is leaking water through the gasket on the roof. I pulled the inside cover off and took out the four big boltd holding the roof top section, but I can't begin to even move the unit. I don't dare pry on the ceiling to try to lift it. Am I missing something or is it like a two man project.

You need to find where the drain is. The water should flow to a drain and not into the unit. Once you get the condensation draining properly you can use a good quality silicone to seat around the unit. You might check at a RV parts place and find a product they recommend for RV roofs. Hope this helps.
