I have a mad dog usb externall dvd burner model md-16xdvd9a4 i had in the closet for awhile since i had an internal dvd burner, recently my internal failed so i pulled my maddog usb out to use. it wont...

First do windows update until everything is fully updated, pay careful attention to any hardware update that is needed in the left column and if that does not help go double click on MY COMPUTER select the drive( D) then right click, go to PROPERTIES then RECORDING set or change your defaults.

Sound card stopped working

1st you disable the onboard sound card in BIOS level, then install/update the sound driver for Maddog Prowler 4.1 DSP soud card will solve your problem.
