When i press 'scan to file' on the printer it tells me 'connecting to PC' for a while and then just goes back to normal screen does not even scan the paper. nothing appears on computer screen. i am able to print from this computer and do normal copies and faxes etc just not able to connect to computer when scanning.
I am having the same problem!! I have had it for months and everytime I try to reinstall the software it stops so I have to choose to just install printer which works fine but I REALLY need my scanner..any more suggestions???
Kindly install the scanner software for printer the driver software cd just re install it will install the scanner software and make sure in device manger there is not other usb device listed if it is there just remove it. And refresh it in will automatically install the driver.
