To get out of the half and half screen press the pip/pop button on the remote. You can also get the manual here on link below. page 33 tels you how to change.

No dice. I tried that several times last night. When I press PIN/POP it initally says "none" and there are 2 screens showing the same thing. If I continue I get PIP and POP in various degrees. The link to the manual (which I have) is no good.
