Remove the lens from camera.
Look inside pass the mirror, how is the shutter?
Should be flat with the film with no warp or opened shutters.
Or try this:
Lens out, set camera to M (manual mode).
Shutter set at 1 (One Second).
No flash.
800 ISO
Lnes drive pin (recessed) fully into the body, not S or C.
Fresh batteries.
Set self timer on.
Press shutter button.
Camera should blink and then shutter should be tripped.
This will also check to see if you have enough power for min. of one shot.

It doesn't appear to be. although they don't open. I am at school so when I get home I will take a closer look and responed again thank-you for your time and help maxson
where are the shutter blades? I have film in will it hurt it?
It would be best to rewind the film to have a look at the shutter blades from the back with the door open
You might want to have a look a the shutter blades, Are they out of place by chance?
